A Bit About Me
I see beauty in the smallest things. My eyes are immediately drawn to the vast array of natural elements that contribute to the unique environment of our beautiful land. Following in my father’s footsteps, photography has been a passion of mine from a very young age.
My late father, Richard, collected every gadget, camera and film recorder known to man. He treasured it all.

A few years ago, while still living in Sydney, I became a successful award-winning newborn portrait photographer, then after moving to the Blue Mountains in NSW, my focus was quickly drawn towards the exquisite beauty of the natural environment. Over the last few years, the intricate patterns found in flowers, leaves, branches, tree trunks and even feathers have inspired my passion and energy into creating new art forms.
I also was lucky enough to photograph quite a few intimate proposal and elopements in our glasshouse in the Blue Mountains and hope to continue with that here on our property in Glen Huon and surrounds of the beautiful Huon Valley.
I am a newcomer to painting and have been immersing myself in a variety of different styles and mediums. I paint in miniature, using acrylics. I have combined my photography and painting, and currently I am enjoying working with digital painting on my iPad, creating a unique body of work including illustrations, landscapes and flora.
Being self-taught, I know I break 'the rules' but in doing so, I create images that are uniquely mine - composite photographs and painting blending two, three, sometimes four images, blurring the conventional lines found in photography and painting. You will often find me in our studio pottering and creating some form of new art.
